Resilient Bath Implementation

The City of Bath City Council unanimously adopted the Resilient Bath Climate Action and Resilience Plan in November 2024.

The City of Bath has identified over 55 actions within this plan and developed 10 “implementation blueprints” for near-term, priority actions. All too often, excellent climate action plans “sit on the shelf" due to limited staff capacity for implementation and/or limited financial resources to achieve the goals, strategies, and actions identified in the plan. 

Siler Climate Consulting is partnering with the City to build capacity for climate action implementation of high priority actions that maintains the momentum from Resilient Bath planning effort. To do so, SCC is facilitating collaborative governance spaces with City staff and community leaders, launching an outreach and education campaign focused on energy efficiency and emergency preparedness, and developing the necessary processes and structures for effectively implementing Bath’s climate action plan and building transparency around progress toward key goals.
