Looking Upstream, Learning Downstream: Resiliency Planning and Lessons Learned from the Leominster Flood

The September 11, 2023 flood in Leominster was a defining moment for the community, revealing both the acute vulnerabilities of its built and natural environments and the deeper systemic inequities that amplify the impacts of climate change. Siler Climate Consulting is partnering with BSC Group, Montachusett Regional Planning Commission, and the Town of Leominster to listen and learn from the lived experience of the community about the impacts of the September flood and co-create near, medium, and long-term solutions to reduce flood risk and community vulnerability in Leominster.
