Great Bay 2030 Initiative: Climate Resilience Watershed

Siler Climate Consulting (SCC) and the Coastal States Organization (CSO) are working for the Great Bay 2030 Initiative with funding through the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to support integrating equity and justice into their goal of working towards a healthy, resilient watershed.

Through our work supporting the Great Bay 2030 Initiative, SCC and CSO will facilitate a sub-committee dedicated to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Justice. Working with this sub-committee over 2026 and 2027, we will:

  • Assess current practices (e.g. how decisions are made, workgroup composition, goals and interest in community engagement, how conflict is navigated, etc.) and develop customized resources, guides, trainings, or work sessions that build capacity to operationalize equity and justice principles across Great Bay 2030 working groups and Steering Committee.

  • Collaboratively develop and pilot new systems of grant making. Through relationship building, creative facilitation, and in-person visioning exercises our team will weave a network of community partners not previously engaged in Great Bay 2030 to co-design a small grants program that directly meets their needs and gives them sovereignty in managing the funds.
