Peyton Siler Jones (she/her)

Founding Principal

Peyton founded Siler Climate Consulting (SCC) in 2023 with the aim of supporting local climate planning and policy that acknowledges and seeks to address the underlying structural and systemic drives of the climate crisis. SCC works with local, regional, and State clients across the U.S. to facilitate socially just municipal climate solutions. She brings over a decade of experience supporting local climate solutions with a focus facilitation, equitable community engagement, local climate planning, program management and evaluation, policy analysis, project management, and strategic communications.

Prior to launching the firm, Peyton served as the Sustainability Program Director at the National League of Cities (NLC) Center for Municipal Practice and worked as a consultant at Linnean Solutions, where she designed local resilience plans in Massachusetts and Maine. Peyton also brings experience in the public sector with the City of Boston. She worked both as a Climate Resilience Project Manager where she led community engagement for neighborhood scale resilience planning. She holds a Masters from Tufts University in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy. Her research and masters thesis at Tufts focused on centering the voices and demands of movements for climate justice in local and regional climate policy and planning.
