Siler Climate Consulting Four-day Workweek Pilot

SCC is piloting a four day work week Q2 (April - June) of 2026. We launched this four-day work week pilot for a number of reasons, including:

  1. SCC is committed to delivering outstanding products and services to our clients and partners and four-day work weeks may increase productivity. We have reviewed data from four-day work week pilots and are curious about the findings that “happier, well-rested employees work harder.”

  2. As a values-driven firm that cares deeply about staff, we are interested in operating in ways that center our collective well-being.Pilot studies have found that switching to a 4-day workweek improves worker well-being and job satisfaction.

  3. The SCC team works remotely, but we recognize the importance of place-based relationships and work. One of our aims by shifting away from a five-day work week is to enable the SCC team to identify local opportunities to participate in the communities we call home.

We will measure success based on metrics including client and partner satisfaction as well as internal team performance metrics. Huge thank you to all of the clients who have agreed to support the evaluation process through the pilot! If you have experience with four-day work weeks, we’d love to hear from you!
