Abigail Menendez (she/her)

Climate Resilience Project Manager

Abigail brings a decade of experience working in the public sector across all levels of government, grounding her work in service to others. She brings an interdisciplinary background including climate and energy policy, resilience planning, and education, with a focus on the development and implementation of data and community informed solutions.

Prior to joining Siler Climate Consulting, Abigail worked for the City of Boston where she collaborated across City cabinets, Massachusett state agencies and legislature, electric and gas utilities, universities, and community based organizations to support climate resilience and energy transformation efforts. She led Boston’s participation in a National Science Foundation research project, enabling the community-led deployment of environmental sensors to inform planning and solution building. She has also held roles with institutions including the National Center for Disaster Preparedness at Columbia Climate School; the New York State Attorney General’s Office, Environmental Protection Bureau; and the United States Navy.

Abigail holds an MA in Climate and Society from Columbia University and an MA in Urban Education with a concentration in Policy and Administration from Loyola Marymount University. She combines her technical expertise with a deep understanding of the social and emotional aspects of climate work, shaped by her experience working with youth in Los Angeles and environmental justice communities in Massachusetts.
